Hey there!

Name’s Jacque Aye. I’m a published author who loves chatting about fiction, and feelings…heavy on the feelings. Welcome to my personal (public) diary. A safe space for Sad Girls to chat about their woes & seek joy together.

More about me? I’ve been a certified Sad Girl™ for as long as I can remember.

I’m also neurodivergent! And I pen tales about woeful women trying their best, with a surrealist, magical touch. Inspired by authors like Haruki Murakami, Sayaka Murata, and Lemony Snicket, my stories are dark and humorous with a hint…well, a bunch…of absurdity.

I love fashion dolls, anything that’s both adorable and morose, and I fully believe Tyler the Creator is the greatest creative to grace this planet. I also have a thing for writing about flawed women who suffer from anxiety and depression. Not that I’m speaking from experience or anything 😅.
